Hearts striker Selasi Adjei pulled out of training on Wednesday as he continues to struggle with a problematic knee injury.

The youngster returned to the team’s training at the Pobiman Park but could not finish the exercise after suffering pains in his knee.

The former Amidaus Professionals attacker underwent an MRI scan which showed no major damages.

And the club’s physiotherapist of the club Okyere Baffour Agyei has water down on the severity of the injury.

“Selasi has been given some drugs to ease the pains in the area and if all goes to plan, he will be back to training tomorrow and he might be a contender for the final league match of the season.” he told the club’s official website.

Adjei suffered a stranger knee injury during the side’s 4-0 win over Heart of Lions in a match day 23-fixture and has since suffered setbacks in his recovery process.
