Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze scored the decisive goal as AC Milan secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Udinese at the San Siro on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The former Villarreal forward struck in the 13th minute, ending his nine-game drought across all competitions this season.

Chukwueze's last Serie A goal came against Hellas Verona in March.

The 24-year-old on the back of a counterattack ran towards the goal before poking the ball to the far right corner of his compatriot, Maduka Okoye after a short pass from Christian Puslic in the box.

Chukwueze was later substituted for England International, Fisayo Tomori, two minutes from full time.

The win lifts Milan to 14 points from eight Serie A matches.

Next up for Paulo Fonseca's side is a Champions League clash against Club Brugge at the San Siro.
