Super Falcons’ interim coach, Justin Madugu, has selected six foreign-based players for the Super Falcons' upcoming friendlies against Algeria, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The overseas call-ups include Chiamaka Nnadozie of Paris FC, Rasheedat Ajibade of Atletico Madrid, Deborah Abiodun of University of Pittsburg, Monday Gift of UD Tenerife and Esther Onyenazide of Hapoel Katamon.
These players will join their home-based counterparts for the friendlies, scheduled for October 26 and 29 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.
The matches serve as preparation for the 2024 Africa Women's Cup of Nations.
Nigeria and Algeria will use the friendlies to fine-tune their squads ahead of the tournament.
