Chidozie Awaziem Back In Training With Porto After Loan Spell At Nantes, Musa Yahaya As Well

Super Eagles World Cup 2018 squad member Chidozie Awaziem has returned back to his parent club FC Porto ?after a highly successful time on loan in France with Ligue 1 side Nantes.

Awaziem made ?22 appearances in the Ligue 1 for Nantes with a goal to his name from his role as a central defender, and his form earned him a spot in the senior national team of Nigeria.

Porto swiftly offered him a contract extension, which is representatives are currently studying in view of signing it after coach Sergio Conceicao confirmed he is in his plans for next season.

After his involvement with Nigeria at the World Cup Awaziem returned to Portugal over the weekend and will today join the rest of the team in pre season training, where former Nigeria U17 and U20 ace Musa Yahaya is already training.

Yahaya has been at Porto for two seasons but last season was his most productive as he was ever present for the B team who were campaigning in the second division and also major tournaments in Europe

Now adept in his new role as a right wing-back, the 20 year old is however not sure of remaining at the club with his representatives studying options of sending him on loan to a team where he is sure to get playing time
