In an interview with FIFA, Okwuchukwu humbly attributes her impressive skills to a natural gift, saying, "I think it's a gift. I grew up loving football, and whenever I saw someone playing, I'd follow them and ask to play."
The 20-year-old's journey began on the streets of her hometown, where she developed her technique and movement through informal games.
She eventually joined Rivers Angels, a domestic powerhouse, and quickly caught the attention of national team coaches.
Okwuchukwu's pace and finishing have been particularly noteworthy, earning her recognition as one of the tournament's standout players.
As Nigeria prepares to face Japan in the round of 16, Okwuchukwu remains focused on making an impact on the biggest stage.
