Adewale Adeyinka was not in Nigeria’s camp for the African Nations Championship qualifiers against Ghana, the goalkeeper is reportedly in Sudan as he prepares for a move from the NPFL. On Thursday the Eagles held their first practice session in Abuja, without head Coach Salisu Yusuf.
The session was led by assistants Kennedy Boboye, Abubakar Bala and Fidelis Ilechukwu, while goalkeeper trainer Ike Shorumu was also available. FL gathered that Adeyinka had his
medicals on Thursday ahead of the move to Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman. If the move pulls through, he’d join compatriots Abdul Ajagun and Ibrahim Mustapha.
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s CHAN qualifying tie against Ghana will hold on August 28 and September 3.
