Former Super Eagles forward Benedict Akwuegbu has stated that the ride to stardom against the Sierra Leonians in the AFON qualifiers will be easy for the team.
Speaking ahead of the double header encounter, he told brila.net that according to history the eagles always win at home so, he believes it won’t be different this time around and that, Sierra Leone shouldn’t be a tough knot to Crack.
“I think going by the history, Nigeria national team always win at home and I am sure this won’t be an exception, 100% I believe these boys will win”.
“And they will win comfortably and easily, we have good players and Sierra Leone is not a strong team and I believe Nigeria will win easily he said.”
