Barcelona forward Hamza Abdelkarim could consider leaving the club during the winter transfer window after making only two brief appearances in official matches.
The 18-year-old Egyptian impressed during pre-season but has struggled to earn opportunities since the competitive campaign began. He has appeared on the pitch just twice, for four and eight minutes respectively, excluding stoppage time.
According to Gazeta.Ru, citing El Nacional, Abdelkarim is unhappy with his continued place on the substitutes’ bench. If he does not receive assurances from Hansi Flick that his playing time will increase, he could begin considering a move to another club.
Should he lose patience, Abdelkarim would be prepared to assess possible destinations during the winter transfer window.
A loan move for the forward could provide a suitable solution for all parties. Transfermarkt values the Egyptian at 8 million euros.
