Florian Thauvin has been installed as the new playmaker for Olympique Marseille following the departure of Andre Ayew.
The 22-year-old French youngster has been handed the iconic no.10 jersey previously worn by Ayew and will be the main creative force for Marseille in the coming season.
Andre Ayew left Olypique Marseille as a free agent at the end of last season to join English Premier League club Swansea.
The Ghana international is remains a cult figure at Marseille is backing his young French successor to be a hit.
“My little brother Florian Thauvin is the new number 10. Counting on you,” Ayew Tweeted.
Thauvin joined Marseille in 2013 from Lille.
He played alongside Andre Ayew last season.
