The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is reportedly owing Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle three months' salary and bonuses, just weeks before the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Chelle, who led Nigeria to the 2026 World Cup playoff, has not made an official complaint to the NFF about the non-payment of his salary.

He is expected to submit his final 28-man squad for AFCON by Wednesday, December 10.
The NFF has not released an official statement addressing the wage backlog.
Chelle earns a monthly salary of $50,000 and is responsible for paying his technical staff.
