Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa has been charged by the Football Association with improper conduct after criticising the officials following his side’s match against Manchester United.
The FA said Arbeloa must respond to the charge by 1 October.
The manager now faces the possibility of disciplinary sanctions.
Fulham have gone five Premier League matches without a win. With two points, Arbeloa’s side are 19th in the table and occupy a relegation place.
Fulham’s next league fixture is away to Ipswich on 10 October.
