Captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Ahmed Musa, has expressed his joy and gratitude on a successful surgery on his left arm.
The 29 year-old suffered an injury in his Turkish Super Lig club, Sivasspor’s, 2-1 defeat to Ankaragucu just before the international break.
Due to this injury, the Super Eagles Captain was absent during the 2-2 draw with Algeria local based team on Friday 23 September and the 2-1 loss to the Desert Foxes of Algeria in Oran on Tuesday, 27 September.
Musa took to social media to show appreciation to Allah and the doctors who conducted the surgery.
“I just want to express my heartfelt appreciation to Allah for a successful surgery on my left arm,”The former Leicester man posted on his Instagram page.
“As we all know, no surgery is too minor, so I’m grateful for the competent doctors assigned to me for a job well done.”
”Also to you all, for your messages, prayers and words of encouragement. I hope to be back on the field soon stronger and absolutely better.” he wrote
Ahmed Musa will unfortunately be on the sidelines for a period of time before returning to action on the pitch for his club side, Sivasspor.
