Madagascar are into the Cosafa Cup semi-finals after a shock 2-1 win against Ghana at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Monday.
Olivier Simouri was the hero for the islanders, netting in the 90th minute in Rustenburg to set up a meeting with Namibia, who eliminated Zambia yesterday.
Michel Randriamanjaka opened the scoring just before the hour-mark with a great free-kick which gave former Orlando Pirates goalie Fatau Dauda no chance.
Madagascar looked set for a halftime lead, but Randrianasolo’s blunder in goals allowed Daniel Darkwah an equaliser on 40 minutes.
Ghana had the better of the second half, but were undone in injury-time when Dauda allowed Simouri’s shot from a tight angle to beat him from a tight angle.
