Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly rejected approaches from Chelsea and Manchester City for Nigerian midfielder Jenifer Echegini, as the French club continues to regard her as an important part of their plans, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Both Premier League clubs are understood to have submitted offers for the Super Falcons midfielder, but PSG turned down the proposals as they remain unwilling to part with the player at this stage.
Echegini has only one year remaining on her current contract with the Parisian club, a situation that has attracted interest from clubs in England looking to strengthen their midfield options.
Despite the limited time left on her deal, PSG are believed to be keen to retain the Nigerian international and continue working with her as part of their squad plans.
