Udinese midfielder Rodrigo De Paul might be one of the top names in the upcoming transfer window but, at least for now, he doesn't care. Interviewed by The Athletic's James Horncastle, De Paul, 26, said he's solely focused on a top-half finish with Udinese and on the upcoming Copa America with Argentina.

There was talk about Leeds United being interested in signing him last year, and he admitted he was intrigued by the chance of being coached by fellow argentinian Marcelo Bielsa at the time, but that transfer never happened and De Paul just had his best season yet with Udinese. Top italian and european clubs can't wait to sign him this summer, even if Udinese's asking price might be steep, but for De Paul it's all outside noise at the moment, as he is focused on what's ahead with Udinese and Argentina.

De Paul appeared in 35 games for Udinese this season, with 9 goals and 10 assists, providing great quality of play for his team and becoming a centerpiece for the argentine national team in the upcoming Copa America.
