This morning Tuttosport write of Juventus persuit of Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli.
Juventus have been linked with a move for Locatelli since last summer and would have moved to take him to Turin if they could have offloaded Sami Khedira. The Sassuolo president Carnevali has said “If he were to leave, I’d like to see him again in Italy”.
A meeting for Locatelli has been scheduled to take place around the time of the Coppa Italia final but Carnevali will give a discount for his prized asset. “I don’t know if there will be conditions to ensure that some team can take Locatelli”. If the offer does not satisfy Sassuolo the negotiations will stop. Locatelli is known to have admirers all over Europe and England with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and Chelsea also being mentioned.
Juventus will need to act quickly and Decisively to get their man.
