Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen has dismissed speculation claiming he had "?demanded a bumper £150k-a-week contract to stay at Spurs.
The 24-year-old played all 90 minutes on Saturday as Tottenham battled their way back to a 1-1 draw against Everton at Goodison Park.
Following the game, he took time to thank the travelling support before effectively dismissing "?recent reports, which claim that Eriksen wanted to earn five-times more than his current £32k-a-week deal.
"?"Not the result we wanted! But still one point and great support from the fans." Eriksen wrote "?on Twitter. "And don't believe everyting (sic) u read on the internet."

Eriksen's agent, Martin Schoots, went on to reiterate the player's statement, as quoted by the "?Evening Standard, he said:
"The only thing that I can say is that if money were the most important thing, Christian would not have gone to Ajax in the first place.
"At the time, he was 16 and we were in contact with clubs like Barcelona, Chelsea and AC Milan.
"And if money were the most important thing, he wouldn't have joined Tottenham three years ago. He had interest from some of the richest clubs in the world.

"But Tottenham were the only club he wanted to join, and he is happy.
"In the eight-and-a-half years that I have worked with Chris, we never made any comments on contract negotiations and we will not make any exception on this, not even confronted by some funny internet rumours."
Eriksen has been the subject of vast transfer speculation this summer, with the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan reportedly keen on the Denmark international.
"?
"?But for now, it seems as though the 24-year-old is staying put in North London, in spite of conflicting reports.
