Thomas Muller Selfie Inadvertently Reveals Bayern Munich Tactics in Post-Match Photo

Published on: 17 August 2016

"?Bayern Munich are one of the world's strongest teams at the moment, so the fact that Thomas Muller accidentally revealed parts of his side's tactics on social media will not have gone down well with Bayern's management.

After their German Super Cup win over Borussia Dortmund, Muller grabbed teammate Philipp Lahm and assistant manager Paul Clement for a simple, celebratory post-match photo.

All pretty tame, right?

Unfortunately for Muller, the diagrams behind himself, Clement and Lahm seemed to gain more attention than the trio's ecstatic facial expressions.

The graphics outlined Bayern's tactics for their successful win over Dortmund, and one of the situations shown on the board even led to Muller's goal during the match on Sunday, after being set up by new teammate Mats Hummels, "?according to Abendzeitung.

Muller should perhaps take a look at Philipp Lahm's Twitter page, who just posted the bog standard social media post after Bayern won the Super Cup, and maybe refrain from posting on social media for a while in order to keep his side's official tactics under wraps.
