Napoli showed off their new signing to fans ahead of Monday's friendly against Nice - revealing it to be Arkadiusz Milik, who signed from Ajax.
The Polish striker - who scored for his country at this summer's Euro 2016 tournament - will be a direct replacement for Gonzalo Higuain, who joined Serie A champions Juventus last week.
News of the transfer was broken by the club's president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, who tweeted his welcome message to the club's 22-year-old acquisition - though the club are yet to release full details of the transfer.

As reported by "?Sky Sports, Milik scored 21 goals for Ajax in the Eredivisie last season as they finished second to PSV Eindhoven, after slipping up on the final day of the season by only drawing with already-relegated De Graafschap to hand the title to their great rivals.
He will have a tough time replicating the goals scored by Higuain, who scored 71 league goals for the club in just three seasons, before departing to the Old Lady for €90m.
This merry-go-round in players has not been good news for Arsenal fans, after Arsene Wenger opted against bidding for the Argentinian striker before he moved to Turin.
The French manager has been under intense pressure in recent months to sign a new striker in order to ease the burden on Olivier Giroud, especially as Danny Welbeck is out injured with long-term injury.
Ultimately, Juventus had the greater financial power as they are believed to be close to selling midfielder Paul Pogba back to Manchester United for around £100m. The Frenchman ran down his contract in 2012, but new manager Jose Mourinho has identified him as the player to reinvent the club's lacklustre midfield.
