Pep Guardiola is said to be considering a raid "?on former club Bayern Munich this summer, as he looks to Germany and Bayern prospect Joshua Kimmich after the starlet's impressive performances at Euro 2016.
Guardiola brought the 21-year-old to the German club for around £6m 18 months ago, converting the young defensive midfielder into one of the most exciting young defensive players on the continent during their time at the Allianz Arena.

Having excelled at the summer's major tournament while filling in at right-back, the former Red Bull Leipzig youngster was named in UEFA's team of the tournament ahead of the likes of Juanfran and title-winning Cedric Soares.
The "?Mail report that Guardiola, who knows the 21-year-old as well as any manager in the game, is considering making a move to steal Kimmich away from his former employers before he becomes a genuine superstar. Bayern are expected to want at least £20m for his services already, with that figure only likely to climb as he continues to prove himself at the top level.
With Pablo Zabaleta not getting any younger, Kimmich is said to be seen as a potential long-term replacement for the 31-year-old as Guardiola looks to revitalise a defence which showcased more leaking holes than a colander last season.

With Zabaleta and fellow right-back Bacary Sagna both comfortably the wrong side of 30, Kimmich could provide a burst of youthful energy into a City back-line which was unusually mistake-prone last season, leaving the team to just barely scrape into a Champions League place at the end of the campaign.
