"?The transfer saga to end all transfer sagas looks set to rage on despite social media going into a frenzy on Saturday night when The Sport Bible posted a picture of Juventus midfielder (yes, he still is) Paul Pogba purportedly in Manchester.
At first glance, all seemed genuine. Gazzetta dello Sport had claimed the France international would be flying from New York to Manchester to complete his medical but they did point out that it would be a "secret" arrival. So at this point, alarm bells should have been ringing at how The Sport Bible would have got a picture of the £100m man.
But as the fervor increased and the likes rolled in, none other than Paul Pogba himself refuted the picture.

The image in question is actually from last winter and his seven worded comment was quickly shared before The Sport Bible deleted the picture. Pogba will actually be rejoining his Juve teammates on Monday much to the disappointment of social media enthusiasts.
Instagram has been one of the main characters in this melodramatic theatre show and Juventus and United fans alike have flocked to the site for any signs of development in this prolonged act.
Though he quickly told The Sport Bible off for using an old picture of him, Pogba has used Instagram to stoke up the excitement with enticing images of him wearing red or him laughing at all of us with his agent and chief villain in this play, Mino Raiola.
It can be assumed the French superstar will become a United player at some point, fans should perhaps wait for Pogba himself to break the news. And we're he would absolutely love that.
