"?Juventus and France ace Paul Pogba has landed in Manchester ahead of his transfer to Manchester United.
That is according to Italian outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport, who report that the midfielder will undergo a medical on Sunday, before completing his £100m mega-move to the Old Trafford club.
Pogba joined Juventus from United back in 2011 - for free - as an 18-year-old, and has now blossomed into one of the best midfield enforcers in the world.
Juventus were always going to struggle to hold on to him, given his immense talent. And despite their unwillingness to sell, it's never easy to say no to £100m, especially when a player wants out.
If the player passes the reported medical on Sunday, we can expect an announcement in the coming days.
In a press conference ahead of Sunday's Community shield, new Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho confirmed that he wanted to complete all transfer dealings before the club's opening match against Bournemouth on August 13th.
The Portuguese intends to build a new-look Manchester United as he looks to return the club to previous glories, with things having gone south ever since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.
So far, Mourinho has signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly, already adding massive improvement. However, Pogba is seen as the last, and most important piece, of the puzzle.
Signing the 23-year-old would undoubtedly render the Red Devils among the clear favourites to snatch the Premier League title from Leicester City at the end of next season.
