"?Liverpool could make an approach for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic after showing initial interest earlier in the summer, according to Tuttomercatoweb via the "?Liverpool Echo.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via the "?Express) had reported last month that Liverpool wanted to sign the 23-year-old after a series of impressive performances at Euro 2016 with Croatia, but the Merseyside club's interest had since cooled.
Yet it appears Jurgen Klopp could still make a move for the Croatian before the transfer window closes.
Inter Milan had originally captured Brozovic from Dinamo Zagreb on an 18-month loan deal last year, but Frank de Boer's predecessor Roberto Mancini, eventually signed the Croatian on a permanent after a series of impressive performances at the San Siro.
The potential arrival of Brozovic would be Liverpool's seventh summer signing. Klopp has so far added Georginio Wijnaldum, Sadio Mane, Ragnar Klavan, Alex Manninger, Loris Karius and Joel Matip, while Marko Grujic has also returned to the club from loan.

As for departures, Mario Balotelli continues to be linked with a move to Italy after being told he does not have a future at Anfield.
Chievo are the latest Serie A outfit rumoured to be interested in acquiring Balotelli's services.
Christian Benteke is another striker set to depart Liverpool this summer; although, Klopp has admitted it has been hard to find suitors who are willing to pay the club's asking price.
"if there are clubs that want a real striker then they have to make real offers," Klopp told "?Sky Sports after being asked about Benteke's situation.
