Following the departure of Antonio Candreva, Lazio are on the lookout for a new striker and could raid league rivals Atalanta and Sassuolo.
Inter signed Candreva for €22 million a couple of days ago and the Biancocelesti are now in need of someone to replace his 45-goal persona.
According to Il Messaggero, there are many possibilities, including 28-year-old Atalanta forward Alejandro Gomez, who scored seven goals in 34 games in Serie A last season, with La Dea reportedly asking for €10m for his signature.
Another option is Sassuolo’s 24-year-old Nicola Sansone, who scored the same tally of goals last year, but the Neroverdi could ask for a higher figure to let him go.
Newly promoted side Pescara could also be involved in negotiations, with 22-year-old Valerio Verre catching the attention of Lazio.
Outside of Italy, both Manchester United’s Adnan Januzaj and Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha would be possible new arrivals at the Stadio Olimpico.
