"?Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out the possibility of signing a forward to replace injured starlet Kingsley Coman, the Daily Mail reports.
The France international, 20, is reportedly sidelined for an indefinite period after sustaining an ankle injury in training, but Ancelotti has revealed a replacement is unnecessary considering the options he has at his disposal.
The former Real Madrid boss has added just Mats Hummels and teenage sensation Renato Sanches to the Bundesliga-winning squad, insisting all summer that further signings would not follow. And the Italian has reiterated those sentiments in light of Coman's absense.
"I have always said that I do not need any more signings," Ancelotti told reporters.
"I am happy with the team I have. The players who are injured will be back in two to three weeks. We can wait for that," the 57-year-old added.
"I hope Coman will be back after the international break. A few of the others are close to making their comeback."
Ancelotti picked up his first trophy with the Bavarian giants with a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the DFL Supercup last week.
But the game was not short of controversy with Franck Ribery appearing to elbow one of his opponents. The former France international, 33, escaped punishment from the referee but his manager has revealed he has had words with the winger.
"I have had a word with Franck," the former AC Milan boss revealed. "He understood perfectly well what I meant."
