Arsenal Suffer More Injury Woe as Alex Iwobi Ruled Out for a Month With Hip Injury

"?Arsenal have confirmed more injury news as winger Alex Iwobi is reportedly set to miss up to a month after damaging his hip in their 4-3 loss to Liverpool at the Emirates on Sunday.



According to "?the Mirror, the Nigerian international joins a long host of Arsenal first team names on the recovery table already this season, with Iwobi confirmed to be definitely missing the next two games, away to Leicester and Watford, with further procedures set to be carried out to test his fitness at a later stage.


Arsenal fans can take some form of pleasure in the fact that after these two games is the international break, where they will be looking to welcome back Iwobi, as well as making sure that those who are resting from the Euro 2016 campaign are ready to return to full action.

Aaron Ramsey also suffered an injury in the loss to Liverpool, straining his hamstring, and is expected to return to the squad at the same time as Iwobi, to add to a concerning list for boss Arsene Wenger, as the pressure is piling up on him to both bring in new faces from the transfer market and to win their next few games in the Premier League.


Both Per Mertesaker and Gabriel Paulista are defenders still on the treatment table, the former until new year, the latter for months. A £28m deal for Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi was expected to be completed at some point this week, however news regarding that transfer have quietened down as of late.
