As AC Milan look to strengthen their midfield, Fiorentina man Josip Ilicic could be making his way to the Stadio Meazza this summer.
Despite their limited funds, the Rossoneri will hope to sign as many new players as possible before the transfer window closes in order to give themselves the best chance of returning to European football next season.
As reported by the Telegraph, 28-year-old Ilicic is a possible purchase, following his three years in a Fiorentina shirt.
He joined La Viola from Palermo in 2013, having previously played for a few clubs in his home country of Slovenia before moving to Sicily.
Ilicic has played in 102 games in all competitions for Fiorentina since he joined the club, scoring 31 goals and assisting a further 15, and appeared in all of their Serie A matches last season from March 20 onwards, excluding the final game of the campaign.
