Zlatan Ibrahimovic has returned to AC Milan’s Milanello training ground after an absence of six months, ending a period in which he had kept away from the club’s base.
The former Sweden international was last seen at Milanello in the spring, when he held serious talks with the club’s then-manager Massimiliano Allegri. Allegri was dismissed at the end of May, while Ibrahimovic remained at AC Milan despite questions over whether the conversation could lead to the Swede leaving the club.
Those doubts have now been put to rest, according to derbyderbyderby.it, with Ibrahimovic’s visit marking the beginning of a new chapter.
He has resumed close observation of the first team’s work, watching a training session from the side of the pitch. His presence at Milanello did not go unnoticed and could point to important changes in the way his role is developing within the Rossoneri project.
