Ahead of the match between the Flying Eagles of Nigeria and the Young Shipolopolo of Zambia, the Zambia U-20 coach Chisi Mbewe has named a 23-man squad for the friendly.

The friendly initially proposed to be a double header was later reduced to a single game which is to be played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja this Saturday.
Zambia coach in preparation for the game according to Daily Post came in to the country in Wednesday with 23 players as representatives.
While Nigeria is expected travel to Morocco after the friendly, Zambia will leave Nigeria immediately for Dakar to play Senegal in another friendly on February 7.
The 2023 U-20 African Cup of Nations will Kickoff February 19 with Nigeria in Group A and Zambia in Group C.
