Meanwhile compatriot and new signing Yira Sor made his Genk debut in the game when he replaced El Khannouss in the 88th minute.
The former flying eagles striker move to Genk in December for €6.5m and has been eyed as a possible replacement for Onuachu who is likely to leave in the summer.
