Ghana U20 star Yaw Yeboah says the team remains very strong despite the inclusion of new players.
The crafty midfielder who was named the MVP of the 2015 Africa Youth Championships has joined the Black Satellites camp ahead of the World Cup in New Zealand.
Sellas Tetteh’s team have been impressive throughout their preparations towards the tournament – winning all three international trial matches in the five-nation tournament series.
The Black Stars in the process have scored 15 goals and have conceded just two to show their impeccable form ahead of the World Cup.
Coach Sellas Tetteh has however made some inclusions to his squad that won bronze at the 2015 AYC in Senegal.
But Yaw Yeboah insists these inclusions have not diluted the strength of the team.
“The team is still very strong despite the inclusion of some new players,” the Man City youngster said.
“Preparations have been good and we’re confident of coming out of this tournament very successful.”
Ghana is drawn in Group B for the World Cup where they will be facing Argentina, Panama and Austria.
