Contrasting fortunes greeted Nigeria Super Falcons players who represented their European clubs in the Women's Uefa Champion's League on Thursday.

For Asisat and her side, Barcelona Feminine it was a 3-1 loss to Bayern Munich female team at the Allianz Arena.

The Bavarians scored two goals in the first phase of the game in quick succession and a icing on the cake in the second half put the match beyond the Blaugrana who could only get a consolation.

Munich scored the first goal in one of the first chances of the Bavarians in the game as a cross from Bühl was finished by Sandra Paños in the 4th minute.

Magull made it two after six minutes to put the Bayern Ladies in the driving seat.

By the second half, Magull once again with Bayern's first attempt in the second half assisted Schüller to score the third in the 60th minute.

Geyse could only reduce the deficit in the 65th minute to make it 1-3 as Barcelona played catch up.

Oshoola was introduced in the 87th minute, but she could do little or nothing to change the complexion of the game.

The loss puts a pause to Barcelona's qualification to the quarter finals even though they top the group.

However, a win or draw against Benfica on the 15th of December will ensure qualification to the round of 8.

For Ucheibe and Benfica it was another win in the second leg against Halimatu Ayinde's FC Rosengard.

Benfica got their second win as they come back from a goal down to win 3-1 on the night.

Olivia Schough drew the first blood for the Swedish side, but it was short-lived as Benfica scored in quick successions at the tail end of the first half.

Lactase scored twice in the 37th and 40th minutes while Rayla made it three in the 47th minute.
