Bertrand Traore is nearing a move to Wolverhampton, with the Burkina Faso captain expected to join the club as a free agent after successfully completing his medical.
The 30-year-old winger underwent his medical on Friday, according to Foot Mercato, clearing a significant hurdle before he signs his contract with Wolves. The agreement is not yet presented as completed, but the process has advanced to the final stages.
Traore is set to continue his career in England, a country he knows well from previous spells with Chelsea, Aston Villa and Sunderland. A return to English football would give him another opportunity to establish himself after a relatively quiet campaign last season.
