Businessman Wilson Arthur has confirmed his intention to resign as Chief Executive Officer of second tier Sekondi Eleven Wise.

The Ghanaian media and marketing mogul has notified the club’s live patron Nana Kobina Nketsia V of his decision and says there is no turning back.

Arthur says the impatience of the fans for the team to mature is one of the main reasons for his decision.

“The supporters would not allow the team to grow organically,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I have made my intent known to Nana Nketsia and there is no turning back.”

Eleven Wise have struggled to impress in the second tier league.

The Western Showboys are 11th in the Zone 2 standings after 14 games.

Wise came close to Premier League qualification last season only to be undone in the Middle League by West African Football Academy.
