Wilfred Ndidi poised to recommit to Leicester City

Published on: 10 July 2024

Wilfred Ndidi appears on the verge of silencing transfer rumors and pledging his long-term future to Leicester City as revealed by Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano with the final details of a new contract already being ironed out as well as an official announcement which is expected soon.

The exclusive details of the contract point towards a three-year commitment, keeping Ndidi at the King Power Stadium until June 2027. However, the deal is also reported to include a release clause, potentially offering a pathway out for the midfielder should a specific transfer offer be received in the future, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

This decision comes despite Ndidi attracting significant interest from other clubs. Our sources indicate that he has received more than five bids from various teams. However, Ndidi appears to have prioritized stability and a familiar environment, opting to stay with Leicester City and continue his impressive journey with the Foxes.
