Whyte Ogbonda becomes new Bayelsa Queens Coach

Bayelsa Queens have announced the signing of Whyte Ogbonda as their new Technical Adviser on Tuesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports

Ogbonda signed a two-year contract with the club was unveiled at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenegao ahead of the 2024/2025 season.

He replaces deceased Coach Doma Okara as the new coach of the Prosperity Girls as they push to reclaim the Nigeria Women Football League title last one in the 2022/2023 season.

Ogbonda joins the club following his first triumph at the President Federation Cup with Rivers Angels after they defeated Naija Ratels 1-0 in the final in June.  He also led the club to a runners up finish last season.

Ogbonda who knows his onions in the Women's League has coached Ibom Angels Osun Babes and Confluence Queens.
