Nigeria-born Djibouti striker, Akinbinu Samuel has put club goals ahead of his personal achievements as he begins a new life in El Merriekh FC.
Akinbinu, in an exclusive chat with Nigeriasoccernet.com states what is key for him is to win the league more than scoring goals.
The problem goal scorer hopes he wins for more trophies with the club just like he did with Djibouti side Arta Solar 7 in the five seasons spent with the club.
Asked his aim with the club this season, Samuel said "Probably wining the league and cup as much God helps"
On the number of goals he will score at the end of the season, the 25-year-old said "Let say I start from 1 goal then others follow by the special grace of God but what is paramount is to win the league again and cup."
The former Lobi Stars player and his team go against Gor Mahia on Sunday in the second leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round and will be seeking to consolidate victory after a 1-0 first leg win in South Sudan.
"The spirit is so high am very sure by God grace we will advance", he confident Akinbinu said concerning the match.
