Desert Foxes of Algeria goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja admits that his team have to be fully concentrated to beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria in an International friendly today, Tuesday 27 September, in Oran.

The Super Eagles will be looking for their first win in four attempts when they go head to head with the North African Giants.

The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Champions defeated Guinea 1-0 last Friday in Oran while the Super Eagles were held to a 2-2 draw against the local based Algeria team in a test game in Constantine.

The 34-year-old FC Metz (French Ligue 2) shotstopper, Oukidja, who has been capped twice by the Desert Foxes, told Algeria Presse Service they look forward to making it 4 out of 4 against the Super Eagles.

“Nigeria’s national team needs no introduction, it’s a very good team that opts for direct play. We will make sure to counter them and earn another victory.” Oukidja said

“Admittedly, we remain on two victories against this same team, but that was played on small details as evidenced by the narrow scores of the two meetings. We will therefore have to show concentration to overcome this opponent.”

The match between the North African Giants and West African Giants will kick off by 8pm(GMT+1)
