Chidiebere Ajoku, the forward for Heartland, has beckoned on the fans to come out in their numbers to shout down their opposition when the league leaders Remo Stars come to town on Thursday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Positioned at the bottom of the table, the Naze Millionaires are eager for their third win this season.

Their last league match of the year against Remo Stars is scheduled for Thursday at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.

Ajoku urged fans to come out in large numbers to support the team.

It is a game we are working hard to win because we know that is the last game of the year and a win will position us well positively for the new year,” Ajoku told Heartland Media via Daily Post.

“We know our league’s position and we are not happy about it. We will work harder to secure the maximum points. Doma United fans played a crucial role in their impressive home form.

“The crowd that came to watch us against them was massive. They used the weather conditions, too. We want our fans in Owerri and remote villages to come all out and support us.”
