Ahead of their league opener, Bayelsa United Captain, Gabriel Biriduba has disclosed his team's readiness to face their opponents, Dakkada FC come Sunday in the 2022/2023 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
The newly promoted side will play their first match since their return to top flight Nigerian football after seven years of absence.
Biriduba was optimistic of the team's ability to do well not just against the Uyo side, but in all other games they play this season.
"From the time being we have been together training, playing friendly games and feel that the team is ready to carry on Dakkada or any other team in the NPFL.
The unity is ok, the players are doing things very well, we understand ourselves, we are in unity and we are ready to go all out on Sunday against Dakkada", he told Bayelsa United TV.
The match comes up on Sunday, the 15th of January at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa by 4pm Nigerian time.
