Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu expressed disappointment after Trabzonspor were held to a 1-1 draw by Samsunspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday night, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Onuachu gave Trabzonspor the lead with a header in the 16th minute, his second goal of the season.
Despite dominating the match, Trabzonspor failed to double their lead, allowing Samsunspor's Marius Mouandilmadji to equalize.
"It was a good game we actually deserved to win. Overall, we played a good game. We had some opportunities that could have taken the win,” Onuachu told the media after the game.
Onuachu's goal was a highlight of the game, but the Nigerian international was unhappy with the final result.
