South Africa’s national football team, Bafana Bafana, will arrive in Uyo on Wednesday ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Nigeria, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The contingent, including players, backroom staff, and officials from the South African Football Association (SAFA), will travel on a chartered aircraft.
They will be accommodated at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Ikot Ekpene.
With eight of the Super Eagles players still stranded in lago due to the national strike, it remains to be seen how the Nigeria Football Federation plan to convey the Hugo Broos' squad from Lagos to Uyo.
Thee fixture is scheduled to take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday.
