Ghanaian forward Nana Poku continues to score goals in the Egyptian Premier League as he scored his 11th goal of the season for Al Shorta in their 3-1 loss against Al Ahly on Saturday.
The 22-year-old had levelled the scoring for Shorta with a fine 60th minute strike after Peter Ebimobowei had scored first for the visitors.
Poku controlled a pass well inside the box and tried to put the ball beyond the keeper but the on-rushing Ahly keeper got a touch of the ball which bounced ball into Poku's head before rolling into the empty net.
However Egyptian attacker Waleed Soliman scored twice within a minute to snatch victory for the Cairo giants.
Poku, a former winner of the Ghana Premier League Golden Shoe, has now scored 11 league goals in the Egyptian Premier League.
