With no breakthrough after 90 minutes, penalties followed. Harcourt emerged the hero, saving one of Niger’s spot-kicks and earning Player of the Match honours.
Nigeria will face Ivory Coast in the final after they defeated host, Ghana 2-1 in the second semi-final match.
