WAFCON '24: Super Falcons wrap up group stage with draw against Algeria

Nigeria Super Falcons played a goalless draw against Algeria in their last group match of the 2024 Women African Cup of Nations going on in Morocco, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 9-time champions of Africa were held to a goalless draw by the Fennecs of Algeria in a game totally dominated by the Falcons.

Nigeria finished top of group B with seven points without conceding  a goal in three matches while Algeria finished as second with five points.

Nigeria Super Falcons will play the Copper Queens of Zambia in the 2024 WAFCON quarter-finals on Friday in Casablanca.

The last time the Super Falcons faced Zambia at WAFCON, they lost 1-0  in the third place encounter.
