Vitinha has become Paris Saint-Germain’s most-capped Portuguese player after making his 212th appearance for the club.
The 26-year-old midfielder came on in the 59th minute of Paris Saint-Germain’s home Ligue 1 match against Le Mans. The hosts scored twice soon after his introduction to secure a 3-1 victory.
According to ParisSG INFOS, Vitinha surpassed former striker and club legend Pedro Pauleta, who made 211 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain.
Vitinha joined the French club from Porto in the summer of 2022. Since then, he has scored 27 goals and provided 25 assists in 212 matches.
