Vincent Onovo, who was handed a late Super Eagles call-up for a recent friendly against Cameroon, is expected in Izmir to finalise his move to Super Lig side Gotzepe.
According to media reports in Turkey, the 25-year-old defensive midfielder, who plays in the Hungarian league for Ujpest has discussed with the club and he is to complete the deal soon.
Defensive midfielder Onovo will be a direct replacement for Anderson Esiti, who played on loan from Greek club PAOK last season but Goztepe failed to active his buy-out option.
Onovo has previously played in Finland for Inter Turku and HJK Helsinki.
