Hearts of Oak board member Frank Nelson has attributed the side's massive win over Heart of Lions to the presence of former top executives of the club.
The Phobians crashed Lions 4-0 in Caps Coast on Wednesday as they begin to serve a home ban.
The win has rejuvenated the rank and file of the club which has been troubled in recent times due to poor results.
Former chairman of the club Thomas Okine led a delegation of former club executives to the Cape Coast Stadium in a bid to motivated the players to secure the vital win.
The likes of Harry Zakkour, Stephen Akwettey and Isaac Tetteh all attended the game as the Phobians emerged from the ashes to put four behind Lions to steer clear off relegation.
And board member Nelson admits the presence of the former top officials of the club was a major contributory factor in their emphatic win.
"Seeing all these big people around inspired the boys to win the game," he said.
"We want everyone to know that Accra Hearts of Oak is a united club and we will now keep going forward."
