Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek has downplayed speculation surrounding Victor Osimhen's future at the club, stating it's too early to discuss a permanent transfer, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Osimhen, on a season-long loan from Napoli, has impressed with four goals and three assists in seven outings.
Özbek emphasized Galatasaray's focus on the current season, saying, "Galatasaray football team is having a successful season. Victor Osimhen is our player this season and his performance is also good".
He added that discussions about Osimhen's future will take place at the end of the season.
Rumors have circulated about a potential permanent transfer for the 25-year-old Nigerian striker, but Özbek remains tight-lipped.
"We have time ahead of us for the future structuring of Galatasaray, we will take it into consideration then".
Galatasaray's priorities lie in maintaining their successful season, with Özbek affirming the club's commitment to success.
Osimhen's impact has been significant, and this has made his future stay at the club imaginable despite the dry loan.
