Valencia have officially announced the loan signing of Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott, with the agreement set to run until the end of the 2026-27 season.
The 23-year-old leaves Liverpool on a temporary basis after making 149 official appearances for the Merseyside club. Elliott joined Liverpool in 2019, having begun his senior career with Fulham, and has since collected a number of major honours, including two league titles.
His move to Valencia represents the latest stage in the development of a player who became one of the youngest footballers to appear in the Premier League. Elliott made his Fulham debut in England’s top flight at the age of 16, marking the beginning of a senior career that quickly attracted attention.
Valencia confirmed the agreement but no further details of the loan arrangement were provided in the announcement. The deal will keep Elliott with the club through to the conclusion of the 2026-27 campaign.
Elliott came through Fulham’s academy before moving to Liverpool in 2019. During his time with the Merseyside side, he established himself as a first-team midfielder and reached 149 competitive appearances. His list of honours includes two championships, underlining the success he experienced after joining Liverpool.
At international level, Elliott has also enjoyed considerable success with England’s youth teams. He has won the European Championship twice with England’s youth national side, and he was named the best player at the 2025 tournament.
The midfielder’s performances at that competition added to his reputation and highlighted his standing among England’s emerging players. His record at club and international level now includes major honours, extensive senior experience and recognition at youth international level.
According to Transfermarkt, Elliott’s current market value is €20m. That valuation reflects the status he has built since becoming a Premier League player with Fulham at 16 and subsequently moving to Liverpool.
Valencia’s announcement confirms that Elliott will continue his career away from Liverpool for the duration of the 2026-27 season. The loan gives the midfielder a new club environment while preserving the connection with Liverpool, where he has made 149 official appearances and won multiple trophies.
